Who We Are
Mental Health Counseling Group was founded in 2023 by Sara Veillon, M.S., LPC, NCC — a licensed trauma-focused therapist and longtime Katy, TX resident. What began as a single-location practice in Katy has grown into a multi-location group practice serving clients across Katy, Sugar Land, Fulshear, and Austin, TX, as well as statewide via telehealth.
Our Clinical Team
Our therapists are licensed or supervised professionals holding credentials including Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), LPC-Associate, National Certified Counselor (NCC), and specialized certifications in EMDR, play therapy, and family systems work. All associates are supervised by fully licensed clinicians in compliance with Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors requirements.
Our Approach
We practice evidence-based therapy including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and family systems approaches. We serve individuals ages 5 and up, couples, families, and adolescents across a range of concerns including trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
