Fanny Velazquez

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a license in the state of Texas and Florida. I believe in a holistic method when it comes to mental health. I have 20 years of experience working as a therapist in bilingual (Spanish-English) settings. I have experience working with teens, adults and couples, dealing with different situations such as: intercultural marriages, parenting issues, family stress, divorce, anxiety, loss, trauma, conflict resolutions, communications skills, and adapting to new environments or culture.
I have special expertise working with people who are dealing with depression, anxiety, intercultural issues, trauma, couple's communications skills, and stress. I am a certified Medicine and Trauma Specialist and certified by IMAGO as a couple's therapist and I hold a certification on EMDR.
