A word about what these are, and are not

These are tools for thinking about yourself, not clinical instruments. None of them diagnoses anything, none is a substitute for talking to a professional, and no result here should be used to make a decision that matters on its own.

The Big Five is the one with genuine scientific standing behind it, built on decades of published research. The Enneagram and How You Give and Receive Love are useful frameworks for reflection and conversation, but they have not been validated the same way, and we would rather say so plainly than let them borrow credibility they have not earned.

If something you read here is worth talking through, that is exactly what we are here for.
