Online counseling in Austin, TX

Mental Health Counseling of Austin, our Austin practice, offers online counseling, also called online therapy, virtual therapy or telehealth. It has no office: every session is by secure, HIPAA-compliant video, so you can see your therapist from home, from work or from anywhere in Texas, on a phone, tablet or computer.

If you are looking for a therapist in Austin, the practice offers individual, couples, marriage and family counseling. Each counselor's profile below lists what they help with: addiction and substance use, trauma and relationship concerns.

Every counselor offers a free 15-minute consultation call first, so you can ask questions and get a sense of fit before your first session. Online sessions here are $200 to $230, depending on the kind of session, and we provide a superbill on request for out-of-network insurance reimbursement.

If you are in crisis or having thoughts of harming yourself, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or call 911. Please do that first, and reach out to us afterward.

Addiction is a family disease, so I work with the whole system instead of one person in isolation. I specialize in couples affected by substance abuse and trauma using Imago, EMDR, and IFS, and as a Marine Corps veteran I bring that same persistence to the work.
